Turkish Cymbals

  • Hi friends,
this is Bülent E. Albayrak from Cymballand. At firstly I'm sorry for my language. My German language is not enough momently. But I'm working on it. I'm a drummer and I'm playing Turkish Cymbals for 12 years as an endorser. Now I'm living in Berlin and I'm the distributor of Turkish Cymbals in Germany. I'm ready to answer if you have any question about Turkish Cymbals.

  • Dear Hebbe,
thank you very much! I recognized that, my topic has been already transferred to the right place with your help. I think I can feel free for sharing information about my cymbals, right? So, hi again, folks ;)

  • Hello Bülent,

I have already seen the new website before your post and I must say that this is just an amazing piece of work that you guys have put together there. Really really cool and helpful. And of course I have checked and found my personal favorites already. :whistling:

Keep it going. Two thumbs up!

  • Dear Moe Jorello (cool nick name btw:) ),
this is really cool feedback for me. I appreciate for this, thanks. The site (http://www.cymballandvirtual.de ) is really user-friendly (just click on a cymbal and listen to the natural sound) and it looks like very simple (the site is only 1 page) . But we worked really hard for this. Almost 20 different software is working together in the page (this is what my software team said to me). And I think this is first in the world. I just wanna to give an opportunity for checking Turkish Cymbals out to drummers before buying them. I think and I see that, this is working for who wanna find a cool cymbal sound for his (or her) drum set.

  • The Website is cool, it even works on the Ipad. Probably the best presentation of cymbal sounds I have seen up to now!

Thanks Oliver, it's good to hear that. Actually we have some delaying problems with Safari browser and we are suggesting Chrome or Mozilla Fireworks for the best result.
I needed a reference for finding my drum sound like Cymballand Virtual as a drummer before. Now I created it. I hope it helped to you, too.
    All the best,
    Bülent

  • I had some weird delays bur thought of WLAN issues... anyway, the sound room of another manufacturer does not work at all on the Ipad, so some delayed sounds are way better than no sound. Maybe you find a fix for Safari further down the road...

Yeah, I have some delays on my iPad and Macbook when I'm using Safari. Be sure we'll work for it but we need time for fix the situation. It's not a regular website actually. This is an application which working as online. We wanna make it perfect and gonna do this. Please check http://www.cymballandvirtual.de with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. I believe you'll really enjoy... Thanks, mate!...

  • You and your software team did a great job.
The different "sound zones" are great.

Thanks a lot! We are working for the best service. I planned for this project for long time. It was like an imagined toy for me. Because there are only sample tracks or videos which are played and recorded by somebody. I thought, it hasn't to be like that. Musicians suppose to be active while they are looking for something as online. Doesn't matter cymbals, snares or another instrument. Ok, we played and recorded our sample sounds, too but at least drummers can choose the sound of the zone of the cymbals and they can compare them. They're not passive sound listeners anymore. I told to my programmer friend what I'm planning for http://www.cymballandvirtual.de , and he said, "yeah, why not, it looks easy! " But be sure, it wasn't . It took long long time and much more effort than our plans. But it doesn't matter, it works, right! ;)

  • Welcome to our circle!
I've seen your website a few months ago already and observed the progress a bit.
It looks(sounds) great but the regular page lacks a bit (Firefox, 50mbit/s ), the soundroom works fine for me.
Seems like the servers may be struggling a bit? I could imagine that you get a tiny bit more traffic by now
Congratulations to your new business and nice to have you here!

  • Wonderful homepage(s) with really cool and helpful sound clips. Thanks!

  • Hi Bülent,

very nice to have you here! Welcome!
I bought my first Turkish Cymbals crash last year in Istanbul and have ever since waited for an official German importer to appear out of the dark.
I don't want to turn this into a political thread, but suffice to say that I'm not really eager to visit Erdogan's Turkey every time I'd love to buy a new cymbal.
So I'm really happy that Cymballand exists now, and I'm sure to buy a new crash cymbal from you sooner or later.

    Best regards,
    Tom
