Über mich

  • I was born in 1984 in Pécs, Hungary. At the age of 6 I became interested in playing music. After 6 years of playing the piano I chose to play the drums. I have been self-taught in acquiring the techniques and styles that my great influences taught me by their concerts, videos and tabs. I used to play in rock bands for a long time then started to taste the world of fusion, jazz, funk and latin. And this is what I am still doing, the world I could identify with.

    In April 2009 I’ve won the "Worldwide Drummer Search" competition and by that I've become a worldwide endorser of the Sleishman Drum Company.

    In March 2010 I founded my own band called RasaSound. The goal was to create a unique, "outside the box" musical world, free from genres and categories, although loosely based on psychedelic and electronic music played with live instruments. After the initial recruitment of members the band started working on new material, utilizing a composing style based on collective improvisation. The first result of this process is the EP called Synthetic Nature available from March 2011. /free to download/
