Eigentlich eine tolle Idee.
Wenn also mal jemand nach Iserlohn (Zwischen Ruhrgebiet und Sauerland) kommt, kann er bei mir gerne meinen Premier Artist Jazz kit testen, genau so wie Paiste Trads, 602 und Spizzichino.

Sonic Characteristics of the Reflector Finish
Paiste's Signature Reflector and Dimensions Reflector cymbals basically share the same overall sonic parameters, feel and function as corresponding models with a regular lathed finish. The general effect of the Reflector finish on these cymbals is very subtle and may be summarized as follows:

The sonic timbre and color of these instruments is somewhat lower, which makes the cymbals feel a bit darker.
The frequency range is wider due to the lower pitch of the fundamental note and higher overtones at the upper end of the frequency spectrum.
The frequency mix is cooler and cleaner, as the high, middle and lower frequencies are more distinctly layered, due to the less dominant character of the middle layer - the "voice" of the cymbal.
The stick sound and bell character tend to be slightly more distinct and separated, while the Hi-Hat chick sound tends to be a bit softer, warmer and more compact.
The duration of the cymbal's sustain is relatively similar, but the midrange frequencies fade faster.
The overall feel is substantially the same, but Crashes and Chinas tend to feel a bit softer and more controllable.
Weight, volume range, transient response and dynamic intensity are virtually identical.

Mal zu seiner Verteidigung: Die Traditional Hats sind meiner Erfahrung nach nicht sehr konstant, jede klingt anders.
Wenn da ein absolutes 100%-Pärchen in dem Laden rumliegt, zahle ich auch die 500 €. So ist es mir lieber, als mir von MP eventuell Schrott schicken zu lassen.

DAS ist ein Proberaum!

800 mag viel erscheinen, aber das Ding ist einfach ein geiles Teil. Das ist der HipGig-Gedanke konsequent weitergedacht. Damit ist das GigPig zwar ein absolutes Nischenprodukt und mehr was für Freaks (oder kann mir hier mal jemand was zum Sound sagen, ist der seriös?) aber wird mit Sicherheit seine Liebhaber finden.

Frag ihn halt selber, herrje.

So eine hat der gute Cat hier aus dem Forum zu verkaufen, so weiß ich weiß. Frag den, was er haben will. Und überprüf mal deine Komma-Taste, irgendetwas stimmt da nicht.

Ja aber so etwas ist doch nicht mehr TRUE!
Wenn ich schon Schiß haben muss, beim rumspringen das Laminat dreckig zu machen oder 'ne Lampe zu verkratzen...So ein Proberaum würde den Flippers gut zu Gesicht stehen. Oder hat Pat etwa doch ein Herz für geistigen Dünnschiss-Schlager?
