    El Dorado: Solider Hardrocker, klingt nicht unsympathisch. Das Intro hat was von "Killers".
    Zumindest mal wieder eine Nummer etwas abseits vom langatmigen Möchtegern-Epos-Schema der letzten Platte(n). Alles in allem ganz ordentlich.


    Negativ:
    1) Nicko McBrain wird nicht jünger, das hört man von Mal zu Mal deutlicher. :(
    2) Schon wieder dieser widerlich klebrige Klangschlamm der Marke Kevin Shirley...

  • Problem: Bass-Drum. Brauche mehr Kick

    Vielleicht hab ich's versehentlich überlesen, aber welche Felle benutzt der Themenstarter eigentlich?


    Das D112 ist in diesem Fall sicherlich nicht das Kernproblem. Auch wenn es heutzutage vielleicht modernere BD-Mikros gibt, ist es trotzdem ein guter Allrounder, mit dem ein kickiger BD-Sound definitiv hinzukriegen ist.

    In den eBay-Kleinanzeigen war kürzlich ein sehr umfangreiches Sonor Signature zum Spottpreis drin. Artikelstandort München, da dachte ich mir, das schau ich mir mal an. Auf meine Anfrage kam folgende Antwort:

    Noch bevor ich zurückschreiben konnte, war das Inserat gelöscht. Ich fragte dann, warum die Anzeige entfernt wurde und wann das Set gebaut wurde. Antwort:
