Field E-drum Becken

Hallo,

praktischerweise hat der Herr Oswald da elektronische Musik unterlegt,
dann harmoniert das besser.

Halbwegs ähnlich erscheinen mir die Zildjian-Lochsiebe (offiziell: Gen16),
die gibt es an jeder Straßenecke.

Diese Firma Field scheint konzeptmäßig optisch gerne mit viel Aufwand
echte Instrumente suggerieren zu wollen, ich fürchte, so eine Spaß ist
nicht unaufwändig und daher nicht gerade billig.

Ich fürchte, die haben hierzulande noch keine Präsenz.

Die Becken gibt´s derzeit nur in Amerika.
Ich meine aber einer hier im DF hatte die sich bestellt.
Mal schauen, vielleicht meldet der sich ja noch.
Ein Erfahrungsbericht darüber steht meiner Meinung nach auch noch aus.

Er hat in einer Facebook-Gruppe auch schon einen ausführlichen Kommentar geschrieben. Wer des Englischen nicht mächtig ist, möge sich melden, dann übersetze ich das. Ansonsten hier seine Bewertung:

"As
for how the Field cymbals compare to Roland cymbals, here’s my
thoughts: I use all Roland Cymbals when performing live since the Field
Cymbals are so loud. The main reason I purchased them was to use them
exclusively on DrumAngle.com
to compliment the look of the Jobeky custom kit. They do trigger
great, and I find that they have a lower “threshold” where softer
velocities still trigger the cymbals. I can’t play as soft on the
Roland cymbals as I can on the Field cymbals if that makes sense, so I
like that about the Field cymbals. That said, they don’t quite work out
of the box as well as the Roland cymbals, nor would I expect them to.
Roland would of course make sure their own products work great with
their own modules. For the Field cymbals, or any other similar trigger,
there is a fair amount of tweaking that will need to be done. As Ozzy
stated, you can get them dialed in, but it does take some work and they
are very hot…meaning very sensitive.

Hi-Hats:
I personally have not yet used Field’s own hi-hat controller options,
so I cannot comment on their functionality. However, the Hart ePedal 2
works great, it is very unfortunate that this company is no longer
around. My live performance kit is all Hart Dynamics which is why I had
the Hart Hi-Hat controller, and that’s why I used it for my website kit
that you see in these videos. I already knew it worked great so I just
decided to use it with the Field cymbals as well. I will have to do
some research for other controller options for you guys and will
definitely let you know what I find out."

Eine weitere sehr offene Bewertung ist von der Website v-drumtips.com , auch hier alles in Englisch, ich zitiere in Auszügen:

"The Field cymbals look and feel amazing. I have had lots of questions
about them when people have seen that I don’t need to change gear to
change my sound on stage. They fall short in the performance area,
partly due to being too sensitive and partly due to other issues (such
as the variable controller). I imagine that their dual-zone lines, like a
ride or crash, would function just fine, though; and I do feel that I
jumped right into the harder-to-setup cymbals. (...) If I could resolve these issues and find settings that did just that, I
would 100% recommend these to others; however, since these settings are
becoming more and more improbable to find, I am becoming increasingly
disheartened to keep trying. I love the cymbals, but I may look into
just modding them myself."
