Hier mein Text:
1. Place bassdrum and throne so that its comfy to you. The knee-angle should be around 100-110 degrees (other than that you risk physical damage of knee or muscles). Depending on your preferred throne height, the kick must come closer to you (if sitting rather high) or go further away (if sitting low).
2. Now place snaredrum. Go for your desired height and try to place it comfy for you without moving throne or bass. It should be high enough that you dont hit your legs with your hands. Sit upright!
3. Place hihat. That should not be very difficult in this state of setting up
4. Place ride. try where you like it, if its halfway above the bass, you can go for the classic 4piece core kit when
5. placing rack tom(s). Look for best height and angle somwhere between hats and ride and or above the bassdrum. You'll have to decide which ones are the most important and have to be closest.
6. Stand tom(s). See if it works to place it same height as snare. Usually that is comfy.
The other cymbals are usually not the big problem. Make them reachable easily for you.
Always remember it has to be comfy for YOU, but you should avoid the risk of physical damage. So keep an eye on your sitting position and the way you are sitting! Place everything only so far away, that you can reach it without bending your back hard.
If you have the extra problem of the 2nd bassdrum you'll have to decide wether this or the hihat is more important to you. So place it before snare or after you placed the hats, depending on how important it is and how often you use it.
If you are using one or the other instrument only very seldom, then change order of above hints. E.G. if you don't use your ride very often, but the toms really often, then it can be better to place them first and put the ride in place at the end of setting up.
As general rule: Ask yourself, which of the instruments of the kit are most important to you and place them after placing throne and bassdrum in descending order of usage frequency
I hope this helps.
